Why do I need a designer?
We all want a beautiful garden and many of us spend large amounts of money on plants, but somehow, however much we spend, our garden just doesn’t look right. Frequently it’s a case of too many different types of plants creating a muddled impression, or plants being grown in the wrong conditions. The problem is that we are not putting the right plants in the right place.
As a professional garden designer, I know how to get the most out of your garden, whatever its size and condition. I know how to give your garden the structure it needs to look good all year round, how to balance patios and lawns with planting. I can blend colour, shape and texture, I know which plants will grow where, which will not grow too big for your space and how to screen out your neighbours!
Best of all, I can help you realise your ideas for your garden within a realistic budget. Preparing and agreeing a design in advance allows me to accurately cost the project and allows you to build in stages as your budget permits. And of course it helps you to avoid expensive mistakes.
